What is a GMB clean book?

The books suggested on this site are considered clean in the sense that they contain minimal, if any, profanity, gratuitous sensuality, or violence.  In other words, there are no rated "R" books.  But they are not necessarily all rated "G" either.

For instance, the book To Kill a Mockingbird by Harper Lee is one of my favorite books.  It contains some violence, a bit of language, even racial slurs.  But  most who have read this book would consider it a literary treasure.  I would consider this book a clean book.  If you would too, then you will consider the books I choose clean.

If you are choosing a book for your group it is always best to choose one that you have fully read.  Even from my list!  You know what is best for you group.
 Happy Reading!
