My Life in France

I feel truly connected to this book. I have a daughter named Julia who is a chef at heart.

Be inspired by Julia's passion as she fights her way into the chronicles of the culinary world.  If you question whether whipping up a perfect gilded pig tripe is a work of art or not, well it is!

Moral of this read:  You can live your dreams and at any age, but be prepared to be in the frying pan at times.

I always thought it would be fun to use a cookbook as one of the month's choices and have all the girls bring a dish.  FYI, I have been cooking out of Julia's Kitchen Wisdom which is easier to chew than the voluminous Mastering the Art of French Cooking.
