What a captivating book! From the moment I read the first line, I was captured by the mystical presence of Manderlay and it's occupants. I loved the author's way of letting you hear the main character's thoughts as she learned new information...
The ending completely stunned me, and my only regret was that there was no more to the book. I could have kept reading about them forever.
