1 pkg. (20 oz.) Oreo cookies (I used an 8 oz pkg of miniature Oreos and approx half a box of vanilla wafers)
2 (3 oz.) semisweet candy bars (Special Dark), chopped - 1. make vanilla pudding Vanilla Cream Pudding 1/3 cup sugar 2 Tbs cornstarch 1/8 tsp salt 2 cups milk 2 egg yolks, slightly beaten 2 Tbs butter, softened 2 tsp vanilla Blend sugar cornstarch, salt in 2 qt saucepan. Combine Milk and egg yolks; gradually stir into sugar mixture. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly until mixture thickens and boils. Boil and stir one minute. Remove from heat; stir in butter and vanilla. Cool From Betty Crocker cookbook 2.Whip the cream 3. Crush cookies in food processor or blender, a few at a time to allow them to crush fine for dirt. Add candy bar pieces if you wish; these are the rocks. Set aside. 4. In a medium bowl, cream butter, cream cheese and powdered sugar. Beat 2 minutes. Mix into cooled pudding, then stir in whipped cream. -In a 13 x 9 x 2 inch or similar pan or divide into two pans or terra cotta flower pot or large terra cotta saucer -Sprinkle cookie mix in bottom to cover -Spread pudding mix on top -Top with more cookie mix to give appearance of dirt Cover the pudding as best as possible and don't flatten. Just sprinkle cookie mix. Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate overnight or a couple of hours. Toothpicks can be used to keep topping from being smashed by the plastic wrap. (I didn’t need toothpicks- L) Decorate with gummy worms, garden trowel, flowers as you wish
