Each child does a station for 15 minutes and then rotates to the next station. At the end have your family scripture study. Some ideas for stations are: Letter writing - Write to missionaries, thank you note, relatives, etc. Music station - Set out some pillows or use a sofa. Use headphones if available. Lay out some appropriate CD's like church or classical music. Activity Center - have blank paper for drawing or coloring as well as some church pictures to color if available. Journal Writing - If they don't have their own journal, the computer is a good spot for this. Let them each have their own disc to write their journal on as well as saving it to the hard drive. Snack Center - have out a snack and a drink for those at the snack Center. |
