Sing it!

Needed:
Categories printout (cut each category)
Word printout (cut out each individual word)
One dice
Two bowls or bags to put the slips of paper in
Pencil and paper to keep score

Make a category bowl or bag (with the category slips folded inside) and a word bowl or bag (with the words inside)

Points:
Winning a word slip is 100 points
Winning a category slip is 300 points

Object:
The first one to 1000 points wins

Roll the dice to see who goes first. (if there are a lot of players you might want to play in teams) The first person rolls the dice. If the person rolls a 1-5 he/she picks a word from the "Word" bowl. That person then has a chance to think of a song that has that exact word in it (it CAN be pluralized or have an ending like "ed" or "ing"), but has to be that same word. (you can not use "Seattle" for the word "sea", etc.)

The person does have to sing the song out load, with the RIGHT tune. The person must sing AT LEAST five words of the song.

After that person has gone, the next person has a chance to steel it. they then try to think of a song with that word (all of the same rules apply).

The play continues from person to person until no one can think of a song. The last person who thought of one gets 100 points. (Put the slip in a discard pile). the person next to the one who rolled, now gets to roll.

If someone rolls a six, they pick from the category bowl. whoever wins that round (the last one that can think of a song in that category) receives 300 points

If the first player cannot think of a song, then they loose their turn and it goes to the next player

The first one to 1000 wins!
