Needed:
6 dice
Paper and pencil for Keeping score
Everyone roll one dice to see who goes first.
Play goes counter clockwise after that.
Object: First player to 10,000 (that is not
beaten with someone's one extra turn) wins
Scoring:
Anytime:
1's = 100
5's = 50
In one roll:
3 ones = 1000
3 twos = 200
3 threes = 300
3 fours = 400
3 fives = 500
3 sixes = 600
one, two, three, four, five, six = 1000
If you get four of a kind in one roll you add
an extra 100 points for the fourth (and fifth) dice. For example, if you roll
four sixes you would get 700 points. six hundred for the three sixes, plus one
hundred for the extra.
Playing the game:
The first person rolls all the dice. that person is looking for any thing that
makes points, (1's, 5's, three of a kind, etc.). If they get points they can
pull out which points they want. And Must obtain 750 points before getting on
the board. After that, they can stop anytime. If they roll, and don't get any
thing with points they get ZILCH! , nothing! they loose all their points for
that turn./
Here are some examples of play:
Example one
First roll: 1, 1, 5, 5, 3, 6 - That person would probably take out the two one
and leave them to the side (two hundred points) and roll the rest. 5's are not
worth too much and you might have a better chance of scoring more.
Second roll: 6,6,4,6 - the person would probably take out the 6's and stop. They
would have 800 points, (the two ones and the three sixes)
Example two
First roll: 1, 3, 3, 6, 6, 4 - Take out the one (100 points)
Second roll: 1, 1, 5, 3, 4 - Take out two more 1's (this does NOT equal 1000
because the 1's were not all rolled in the same roll) they now have. They can
use the the 5 and stop at 350 points (if they have already got on the board with
their 750) or continue on. If they go on and don't receive a 1, 5, or three of a
kind, etc, they lose their 350 points and their turn.
If you use ALL the dice with points, you
can continue by picking all the dice up and rolling them all again! Careful,
you can Zilch with 6 dice. So you can score 5000 points (or more) in one turn.
But if you ever get no points, you get ZILCH
Passing the dice:
Once someone quits their turn, the next player can take the remaining dice and
continue with the first persons points.
For Example: Player one has 650 points with two dice left. He decides to take
the 650 and stop. Player two can start from scratch with all the dice, or roll
the two leftover dice with 650 points. If he doesn't get a 1 or a five (three of
a kind is impossible with two dice) then he loses his points and his turn. But
is he gets as one or a five (or both) his turn continues and he gets to keep
rolling or stop and pass to the next person.
One turn can keep going around the table adding on each time, until someone
Zilches.
When the first person gets to 10,000, the
rest of the players get one chance to catch up and overtake that player. If they
do, they win (the first person does not get another chance to overtake the
overtaker :)
