Bridal Poem
You will have to stop and start this poem often, with questions, etc. but try your best to keep it rhyming. It will be much more fun.
(before reading the poem, fill in the blank with the month of the wedding)

Welcome to the shower
We're glad you came to stay
Give yourself 3 points
if you kissed someone today

If you're wearing something red
give yourself another two
And get 1 more point
if you're wearing blue

If you've greeted the hostess
with a hello or a hey,
get 3 points, but minus 2
if you bought you're gift today

Get 1 point for a necklace
for each earring you get two
Now give yourself 3 points
if you are wearing shoes

Give yourself 4 more points
if your bed is made at home
and give yourself another
if your purse holds a comb

Get 2 if _______'s your birthday month
(the month wedding bells will ring)
But if you didn't RSVP
3 points you'll be minusing

Give yourself 2 more points
if there's a receipt with your gift
And get another 3 points
if you gave someone a lift (a ride to the party)

If your fingernails are painted
give yourself another 1
now add your points carefully
