24-Hour Bridal Shower - Ask guest to bring gift for certain times of the day. Open the morning gift first, etc. - Caryn Gift Basket Shower - Have everyone bring a gift basket. Could be filled with: scrapbooking supplies, kitchen items, entertainment items (movie tickets, DVD's, popcorn, board games, etc.), religious items (books, DVD's, etc.). Assign themes in the invites, or let everyone pick their own. LDS Tea Party - Have a "tea" themed shower. Every person has a different tea cup and saucer. Serve light salads and lemonade and herbal teas. Decorate to look like tea time, and have little tea cakes and cookies for dessert. Works great in an outdoor setting. - Christine Shower by Room - Assign people to bring a gift for a certain room. Kitchen, bathroom, bedroom, living room, etc. Kitchen Fun - Depending on what the bride likes, have a Tupperware or Pampered Chef themed party. Frozen Meals Party - Gave everyone bring a meal that is good frozen. Make sure they include the recipe. This is especially good if the bride already has everything for the home.
