The Mormon Trail The pioneer trail across Wyoming is still very visible. There are deep ruts by Guernsey Wyoming, with other wagon wheel ruts in many places. Fort Casper in Casper Wyoming is a nice replica of the army presence. Brigham Young started a ferry near Casper Wyoming. As one travels West of Casper, you pass Mormon sites such as Willow Springs, hills and valleys that the pioneers traveled on.
