The Nauvoo Temple Open House, being able to help out, putting booties on people's feet so they could go inside. And then being able to go inside and see it, was really awesome. Also the tours of Old Nauvoo are really cool! - Jody

Visiting the homes, bakery, cobbler shop, the Temple site where only the drain of the baptismal font was visible, the visitors center was very special, we felt the spirit very strongly there. A trip I would and have recommended to many people. Every home and Temple site was so special, to witness, and learn and visit was very exciting - what wonderful memories. My favorite part was standing on the banks of the Mississippi river reminiscing on how the Saints crossed with those heavy laden carts was really amazing. We really did feel for all who had to pass that way.- Jean Francois from South Africa

Nauvoo is amazing - the tours of the homes, the pageants, the Temple, everything. - Emily Raymond

I really enjoyed the whole city in itself, but there was one place that really stood out to me. Carthidge Jail is really worth traveling to. It is such a special experience to be apart of to see and feel. I would really recommend going the few extra miles outside of Nauvoo to experience that. - Amber

I have never felt the spirit as strong as I did while visiting Nauvoo! - Samantha Buntin

We visited there because our grandparents are serving a mission there.  Anyway, there's an awesome activity where you and your family take a 3-mile handcart trek in the forest, plains, and "mountains". (Be careful not to step in cow patties. You will have to ford several creeks so be prepared to do so.) - Nicholas
